I am fortunate to have presence of two adorable girls in my life. I love kids and beyond teaching kids I have always felt that there is so much to learn from them. They symbolize youth in a positive way. Enthusiastic, agile, fearless, flexible and energetic, I have learnt so much just from their presence in my life. They are my inspiration, my little yogis in making and my biggest critic.

Mind-Body Benefits of Yoga.

My yoga Journey started in 2008 at the age of 34 years when I moved to Bangalore from New York City. Without any knowledge or any background in dance and movement or sports, I found an instant connection with yoga. I experienced movement with breath. I practiced regularly for three years. Under the guidance of Mr Satheesh Kumar, a yoga teacher and a sportsman, I learnt traditional yoga with sports strength training exercises. From India, my yoga journey took me to Singapore where I learnt Vinyasa, Core, Hatha and Restorative yoga for two years. At that time I also started to teach Yoga and found my passion in doing so. I moved back home and settled in New York where I formally decided to take my Yoga teacher Training Certification from Westchester Yoga Arts. Here, I gained valuable knowledge in anatomy, physiology and philosophy of yoga practice and how to keep everyone safe in there practice. It is my passion and love for this discipline which I would like to share and teach to whoever who wishes to benefit from yoga.
